    What exactly is a Extract?

Extracts are herbal extracts made by soaking botanicals (plants, flowers, leaves, bark or mushrooms) in alcohol to extract the active ingredients and concentrate the benefits and flavor as a liquid.

We have chosen our extracts for St Hildie's because they add flavor, and have qualities that support your mood and body.

    Who is St Hildie?

St Hildie is a total legend.

Hildegard von Bingen was a 12th century mystic and polymath. A philosopher, artist, composer, public speaker, and the mother of plant medicine. Her seminal volume, Causae et Curae tells of how the human body connects to the natural world, and of all the botanicals that can help humans thrive. Much of her work is the basis of how we use these plants even today.

Hildegard von Bingen is an excellent rabbit hole to dive down.

    Start here, with her story.
